These brief sound clips of 10 to 30 seconds each were recorded over a time period of several years under various playing conditions, therefore the recording quality varies. The sound clips and comments are intended only to show the character of each piece as played by an amateur clarinet quartet. These aren’t studio recordings, and little or no sound editing has been done other than fading in/out and setting a consistent audio level. We hope these clips and comments are useful to clarinetists who are trying to decide which quartets are appropriate to their needs.
